Expenditure  for Repair and Renovation of Office and Residence of Collector and SP- A testimony of Mindless Expenditure and loot  of public money   by Odisha Bureaucrats

RTI Application was filed  to 10   districts  seeking  information  about details of  expenditure made  for  renovation and repair  of  office  and Residence of Collectors and SPs from 2014-15 to 2018-19. Only 5 districts have provided the information.  This information suffers from ambiguities, missing data and invisible letters.  However , I  have taken a lot  of pains  to compile  it  and put  it  in public domain  for  knowledge  of the  public.  It  shows  how bureaucrats  are  recklessly and mindlessly misutilising  lakhs of  rupees ( public  money)   IN EVERY YEAR  for  their  comfort and luxury. This  expenditure  has been made  in most  poverty-stricken and  backward  districts  of our  state.  These Collectors have  taken  public money  as  their paternal  property  and spent  at  their whims and fancies.  The  detailed year-wise   information provided  by the PIOs upto Dec. 2018  is presented  below.
