is a Deception , designed to cheat
the people.

RTI Application was filed
to all Universities seeking
information about details of
post created/ sanctioned in respect
of appointment of Professor,
Associate Professor and
Assistant Professor in Odia
language, vacancy of different
posts. All the Universities have
provided information which is presented
below in Tabular form. This
information has been
obtained latest by
Dec. 2018.

It
was found that
post of Professor is lying vacant in all 8
universities except
Berhampur University in which one Professor is working .
·
Out of
44 Sanctioned post of Associate
and Assistant Professor, 17 posts (
38% ) is lying vacant .
·
Due to
huge vacancy in the
post of Professors, education in
Odia literature has suffered a lot.
·
Despite
plethora of requests by the
authorities, the State Govt. has not
taken any steps to ensure appointment
of Professors in the vacancy post.
