- · 52% of doctors’ post is vacant in Odisha
- · Tribal districts who epitomizes pathetic scenario of infant death and child malnutrition and require more advanced health facility are worst-affected, as 62% of Doctors’ post is vacant.
- · Ganjam which is worst-hit COVID district witnesses vacancy of 62% of doctors’ post.
- · 260 doctors are absconding for years together . The Govt. is helpless to find them out or take any action against them. As it is reported, most of them are engaged in private hospitals in the knowledge of the officers of the Govt.
- · No need to read book or do any research why Odisha is facing disastrous health situation in 21st century. The callous, apathetic attitude, mega corruption, loot of public money by unscrupulous Ministers and bureaucrats have caused irreparable loss to our health system in Odisha.
