On 14.5.20., RTI
Application was submitted
to the PIO, office of Odisha
Mining Corporation, Odisha, Bhubaneswar seeking
information about creation of CSR
Fund and its utilization since 2014 and fund
donation to the Chief Minister
Relief Fund. On 26.6.20., the PIO
supplied the following
information.
As per section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, OMC developed
a Policy on Corporate Social
responsibility in 2014 which
was approved by Board in its
406th meeting held on
30.6.14. It was created with
the objectives to take care
of the socio-economic well-being
of the local people and environment protection even after
closure of the mines, eradicate
poverty and hunger, creation of employment, ensuring environmental
sustainability etc. The details of CSR
