Sanction for Prosecution of 69 corrupt officers is pending with State Govt.

Acting on a Complaint filed by RTI Activist Sri
Prasant Kumar Mohapatra, Jatni, Khurda
On 27.1.21, Lokayukta, Odisha has
issued notice to the Chief Secretary, Odisha for reply why 69 cases relating to corruption against
different public servants are pending since 2015. The next date of hearing is
fixed on 15.3.2021.Sri Prasant has alleged that the State Govt. has intentionally protected these corrupt officials and does not grant sanction.
On 30.7.20., Sri Prasant Mohapatra had filed RTI to the PIO, Dept. of GA & PG seeking information about no. of cases for sanction for prosecution of officers pending with Govt. On 2.9.20, the PIO provided the following information.
