Why information about duplicate key of Ratna Bhandar of Lord Jagannath available with admn. is false

Key of Ratna Bhandar of Lord Jagannath, Puri  whether original or duplicate is still mystery, exposed under RTI

Debate and doubt raised by the common people mostly devotees   about  original or duplicate  key of Ratha Bhandar of Lord Jagannath, Puri  which is available  with the district administration  after clarification of the Collector, Puri  that it is duplicate  key  is  shrouded in mystery. The people  have publicly questioned revelation of  Collector , Puri and asked  how the Collector  could know  that  the key is duplicate. Since then, the Collector, Puri is maintaining ominous silence over the issue. If the key is available, why  the Puri Temple administration is not opening  the Ratna Bhandar ? 

To bring to limelight the facts about key of  Ratna Bhandar,  RTI Application dt. 18.6.18 was submitted to the office of Collector, Puri seeking  the following information and inspect  the key.

a.       Details of location of storage of key of Ratna Bhandar and name of the custodian of the key kept in various places.

b.       photocopy of the document relating to rules and regulations governing storage of key of Ratna Bhandar

c.        Information about when administration came to know that key of Ratna Bhandar is missing.

d.       Information about when and who got the missing key or duplicate key of Ratna Bhandar .

e.       Opportunity of physical inspection of the duplicate key  available  with administration and verify authenticity of the  duplicate key.

 Though one month has passed, the PIO  has not supplied  any information. As per section 7(1) of the RTI Act,  the PIO is required to provide information within 30 days  or reject the application  citing ground  section 8 and 9 of the Act.  But interestingly, the PIO  has not responded my application.   However, I have filed first appeal  to the FAA –cum-ADM, Puri.

It shows  how  the district administration  and  mainly  collector  acting at the behest of  Chief Minister office  is  befooling  the people of Odisha  giving false  information about key.  In fact  the key is lost. There is neither original key nor duplicate key of Ratna Bhandar.  That’s  why  the district administration is declining to provide  any  information about it.
