No Documentary Information available who drove Chief Minister to Puri

No Documentary Information available who drove Chief Minister's Car to Puri

( RTI Revelation)

Dear friends

Just next  day  after  our  press meet  questioning Chief Minister’s  aerial  visit  to the  flood-affected  areas on 31.8.20  which was  fake  and false  and  subsequent  explanation sought  from the  Chief Minister’s office , on 16.10.20., Sri Naveen Patnaik, Chief  Minister, Odisha  visited  to  Puri   to review  progress  of development  work  undertaken  around  Jagannath Temple. The  Chief Minister’s  visit was  seen telecast  in BJD-patronised  TVs  to  project  CM  as  if  he is quite physically  active  to look after affairs  of the  state.  In fact in our  press meet, we  have raised  the  issues  of  health  problem  of Chief Minister  for  which  a fake  news  was  prepared  about  CM’s aerial visit.

After  three  days  of CM visit  to Puri,  Sri pratap Mohanty, RTI Activist ( M-9040222335)   filed  RTI in the office  of the  Chief Minister seeking  the  following  information

 i.  Name of the of the driver who drove the chief minister driving his visit to puri jaganath temple on 16/10/20.

ii.  List of the official cars with numbers used by chief minister, govt of odisha from January 2019-oct 2020.

iii.Name of the drivers driving chief minister car

On 5.11.20., the PIO  provided  the  following  information.

Point No. -1-  No such  information is  available  in the Chief Minister’s office

Point No.-2 &3-  The PIO   provide the  information in the  following  table.

 Analysis

The Chef Minister’s  car  is  always driven by   the  Drivers  who are  officially   engaged  and paid  from State  Exchequer.  But  during  visit of CM  to Puri, no official  driver   had  driven  the  car  what  the  Chief Minister’s  office  said.  How  un-trained  private  drivers  are  driving  CM  car  without  sanction of the appropriate  authority.  It  needs  to be enquired  and action  to be taken  against  un-official  driver  who  drove  CM car  on 16.10.20. Ihe   untrained  and  un-official  driver  driving  the CM vehicle may  endanger  personal  security  of the  CM .  CM  office  must be  watchful and avoid   unofficial  driver  to drive  vehicle  of the CM.
